Traditional Piedmontese salad
Surprisingly, the traditional Piedmontese salad actually originated in Russia. This classic dish can be prepared year-round and is perfect for picnics. The ingredients include potatoes, tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, ham, and mayonnaise for a refreshing, flavorful, and easy-to-make salad.

- 400g Roma tomatoes
- 600g firm-fleshed potatoes, cooked with the skin on for about 30 minutes
- 3 hard-boiled eggs
- 8 large gherkins
- 200g diced ham
- 150 g mayonnaise.

- 1 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley

Method · 20 min
- Cut the tomatoes into pieces, as well as the potatoes after peeling them.
- Peel the eggs and cut them into 8 pieces. Slice the pickles.
- Place the tomatoes, potatoes, eggs, pickles, and ham in a salad bowl. Add the mayonnaise, vinegar, light cream, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix everything together well and refrigerate for at least two hours before serving.
