This Belgian pizzeria is listed among the hundred best in the world
Pizza is one of those dishes that almost everyone agrees on.
The annual ranking of the World's Top 50 Pizzas has just been released. This year, a London establishment takes first place, followed by regulars on the list, located on every continent. And what about Belgium? As SoSoir points out, only one Belgian pizzeria was eligible for the global ranking, having managed to climb into the European top 20. And Piola Pizza, located in Brussels, rose to the challenge and even did better than last year, securing 78th place. In 2026, this is definitely where you'll find the best pizzas in Belgium (and therefore one of the best in the world).
A regular in the rankings
"The menu showcases ingredients imported from Italy and seasonal produce, alternating between classic favorites and more creative combinations," the experts wrote about Piola Pizza. The chain has three locations: Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, Uccle, and the Wolf food market. This ranking marks Piola Pizza's best performance yet, having been 95th in 2024 and 79th in 2023.
