Chocolate chip cookie tablets, soft and crunchy at the same time
These bars are a bit like a cookie and a bit like a chocolate bar, and that's precisely their charm. The base is soft, with chocolate chips inside, while a thin layer of dark chocolate hardens as it cools, providing a crunchy contrast.
Ingredients · Servings 6
- 70g of soft butter
- 60g of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 120g of wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 70g of chocolate chips
- 100g of dark chocolate
Method · 1 h 18 min
- Beat the softened butter with the brown sugar and vanilla extract until you get a creamy and homogeneous mixture.
- Add the egg and mix until well incorporated.
- We add the flour and baking powder and mix only until we obtain a homogeneous dough.
- We add the chocolate chips and spread them throughout the dough using a spatula.
- We distribute the dough into the cavities of the silicone mold, making sure to spread it evenly.
- Bake for 8 minutes in a preheated oven at 180ºC. Remove the bars and let them cool completely before unmolding.
- We melt the dark chocolate and spread a thin layer over the bottom of the cavities of the clean mold.
- We place the bars back on the melted chocolate, pressing gently so the base makes contact with it. We put the mold in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, until the chocolate has hardened.
- Carefully unmold the bars and serve them once the chocolate coating is completely firm. And that's it!
