White chocolate chip cookies met Macadamianoten
Pauline had already shared this recipe for white chocolate chip cookies with macadamia nuts on Instagram, but not yet here on the blog. And it is just a little easier to find on the blog, so I thought it would be a good idea to share this delicious recipe here as well.
- 225 g soft butter
- 200 g light brown caster sugar
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 400 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 100 g white chocolate
- 100 gr Macadamianoten
- Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
- Beat the butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar until creamy and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time and beat them in.
- Add the flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt, and mix briefly.
- Chop the white chocolate and macadamia nuts into pieces and mix them into the cookie dough.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Form golf ball-sized balls with your hands or a spoon and place them on the baking sheet. Make sure to leave enough space between the balls, as the dough will spread.
- Bake the white chocolate chip cookies in the oven for 20 minutes. Let them cool on a wire rack.
White chocolate chip cookies
We are all familiar with chocolate chip cookies, of course. This version with white chocolate and macadamia nuts is just a little different. And personally, I find this one tastier. Adding nuts gives the white chocolate chip cookies just that little something extra. This is typically the kind of recipe you can whip up on a rainy afternoon. You can then enjoy them afterwards with a cup of coffee or tea.
