About 30 minutes from Berlin, this adventure village features hundreds of pumpkins, giant figures, and a large pyramid during pumpkin season

It's the perfect time for autumnal atmosphere and pumpkin magic.

The entire adventure village is decorated for the season, and among the attractions you'll discover hundreds of colorful pumpkins, chrysanthemums, golden corn stalks, and bales of straw. There are also various autumnal photo and selfie spots, as well as giant pumpkins grown on-site. A special highlight this year is the new pumpkin pyramid, which was first erected at all Karls locations in 2026. In Elstal, giant pumpkin figures of Karlchen and Karla also await you. This makes the visit interesting not only for children but also for anyone looking for beautiful autumn scenes.

The combination of autumn scenery and theme park atmosphere makes Karls particularly appealing to families. While children can let loose on the rides and in the play areas, the grounds offer numerous opportunities to discover pumpkin season and take autumnal photos. During pumpkin season, Karls also focuses heavily on the culinary delights of autumn. In the workshops, you'll find various pumpkin products such as pumpkin jam, pumpkin bread, and pumpkin-apple swirls with pumpkin spice. There are also pumpkin cookies, pumpkin seed-pumpkin spice-strawberry cookies, roasted pumpkin seeds, and pumpkin candies.

For those who prefer pumpkin in more unusual combinations, there's also strawberry-pistachio chocolate, pumpkin spice coffee, and pumpkin spice liqueur. Even for the bathroom, there are seasonal products like pumpkin spice-scented soap. For a sweet treat, you can indulge in Belgian waffles with plum compote, vanilla ice cream, and whipped cream. And of course, a pumpkin spice latte is the perfect complement to the autumnal atmosphere.

Pumpkin season takes place right in the heart of Karls Adventure Village, making it easy to combine with a full family day out. In Elstal, there are numerous rides, playgrounds, and adventure areas. These include the K2 roller coaster, the Treggerbahn, the Strawberry Drop, and soon, the family roller coaster "Betty's Beerchen Boomerang." The adventure village also features a play area, an indoor play arena, mini go-karts, and various play and climbing structures.

Some attractions require Adventure Tokens. One Adventure Token is equivalent to one euro. However, there are many attractions you can enjoy for free. These include the indoor play area, the harbor crane swing, the thrilling cable car, and various slides. Straw bale jumping, the giant bouncy cushion, and the giant climbing strawberry are also free of charge.

Entry to Karls Adventure Village in Elstal is generally free. However, you have to pay separately for certain rides and attractions. If you want to try several attractions that require payment, you can buy a day ticket and use it to access numerous attractions as often as you like throughout the day.
