Pancakes with apples and semolina: a delicious breakfast made from simple ingredients
If you have a few apples at home, you can make soft pancakes from them without regular flour.
Apples add juiciness and natural sweetness to the pancakes, while cinnamon and vanilla add a distinctive aroma. They are cooked in a regular frying pan and can be served warm with sour cream, honey, or powdered sugar.
For cooking you will need:
- apples - 2 pcs.
- semolina - 5 tbsp.
- sour cream - 2 tbsp. l.
- egg — 1 pc.
- sugar - 2 tbsp.
- salt - 0.25 tsp.
- cinnamon - 0.25 tsp.
- vanillin - to taste
- oil - for frying
How to make apple pancakes with semolina
Peel and grate the apples. Transfer them to a bowl, add the semolina, sour cream and egg. Add the sugar, salt, cinnamon and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
You don't need to fry the pancakes right away. Leave the resulting mass for about 20 minutes so that the semolina absorbs moisture and swells. After that, the mass will be more suitable for shaping them.
Heat a frying pan with a little oil. Spoon the apple mixture into small pancakes. Fry over medium heat on both sides until golden brown.
Ready-made apple pancakes are best served warm. You can add sour cream, honey, or a little powdered sugar to them.
