Restaurant Le Café de la Poste in Nâves-Parmelan
In the Haute-Savoie village of Nâves-Parmelan, the historic Relais de la Poste has reopened under the guidance of Maxime Chevardé, assisted by Sylvie Boitard (in the kitchen and dining room).
THIRSTY? A clear and sensible menu, complemented by a secret selection concocted with the naturopathic wine merchant from Aux Caves du Château in Faverges, to unearth local gems such as the Chasse au Dahu white blend by Maxime Dancoine and Guillaume Lavie (€6 a glass) or the Ceux d'Ailleurs red by Francis Rousset (€39 a bottle); in addition to classic cocktails (€8-11), homemade lemonade (€3) or a non-alcoholic IPA from Mont Salève (€6 for 33 cl).
PRICES: set menus €24 (lunch) and €38 (dinner), fish and meat dishes to share €42-58, children's menu €16 (main course, dessert and drink).
