Pizzas with minced beef on naan bread
We love quick solutions for whipping up a delicious dinner in no time, like these sliced beef pizzas on naan bread. Lesters fully cooked sliced steak simmers in fondue broth to give it a juicy texture in record time.
Ingredients
- 1 pack of fully cooked Lesters minced steak (350g)
- 10 ml (2 tsp) of cornstarch
- 180 ml (3/4 cup) of fondue broth or
- 15 ml (1 tbsp) of concentrated liquid beef broth dissolved in
- 250 ml (1 cup) of water
- 4 pains naans
- 500 ml (2 cups) of grated havarti
- 250 ml (1 cup) of steamed broccoli florets
- 1/2 small red onion, thinly sliced
- Oriental-style fondue sauce and dip (Canton-style) to taste.
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 205 °C (400 °F).
- In a non-stick pan, sauté the sliced beef for about 5 minutes, just to brown it.
- In a bowl, whisk the cornstarch with the fondue stock or diluted concentrated beef stock.
- Pour the mixture into the pan. Heat, stirring, until thickened. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Place the naan breads on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Top with the beef mixture, cheese, and vegetables.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese has melted.
- When ready to serve, top the pizzas with fondue sauce.
