  1. We start the recipe for the royal pasta in the oven by boiling them in salted water, they should be a little firmer than al dente. We will bake them afterwards anyway.
  2. Then wash them with cold water and set them aside.
  3. Grate the cheese and yellow cheese, reserving the yellow cheese in a separate bowl for the top.
  4. Break the egg into a bowl and mix it.
  5. We begin preparing the pasta sauce by first melting the butter in a saucepan.
  6. Then add the flour and mix well with a wire whisk until the resulting mixture turns slightly brown. Then add the milk and cream and continue mixing.
  7. The pasta sauce will thicken and then we will add a few spoonfuls of it to the beaten egg, stirring constantly so as not to scramble the egg.
  8. Then add the egg mixture to the sauce.
  9. Add the mustard, salt and pepper.
  10. Finally, add the yellow cheese and the cheese, setting aside the yellow cheese for the top.
  11. Mix the sauce with the pasta and pour it into a greased baking dish.
  12. Sprinkle the cheese evenly all over and bake the salty macaroni in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
  13. Bake for approximately 40 minutes until the pasta has a golden and crispy crust.
  14. This version of the dish is very different from classic baked pasta, but it is juicy and memorable.
  15. The texture is creamy, the taste is unforgettable!
  16. Try it and see for yourself!
  17. Enjoy your meal!
