Chocolate salami

Method of preparation

Ingredients · Servings 6
  • biscuits - 1 package plain
  • butter - 125 g
  • chocolate - 100 g dark
  • sugar - 200 g powdered
  • cocoa - 40 g
  • eggs - 1 yolk
  • cream - 150 g pastry cream
  • fresh milk - 3 - 4 tbsp.
  • oranges - orange peels or lemon peels
  • rum
  • nuts - optional crushed walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds
Method · 35 min
  1. Crush the biscuits finely, but do not grind them. Sprinkle them with the milk.
  2. Separately, beat 1/2 of the butter with the powdered sugar until fluffy and add the cocoa, egg yolk, rum and orange zest.
  3. Separately, melt the chopped chocolate with the remaining butter, let it cool and add. Then carefully mix with the previously whipped cream.
  4. Add the entire mixture to the bowl with the crushed cookies and mix well, adding 1-2 handfuls of crushed nuts.
  5. Pour the mixture onto a sheet of foil, wrap carefully and use your hands to shape into a sweet salami.
  6. Refrigerate overnight and serve, cut into pieces.
  7. The chocolate salami is ready.
