Ingredients · Servings 30
- flour - 200 g
- sugar - 65 g
- eggs - 3 pcs.
- butter - 150 g melted
- salt - a pinch
- sugar - 100 g
- water - 30 ml
- pastry cream - 200 ml
- butter - 100 g
- condensed milk - 50 g
- salt - a pinch
- vanilla paste - 1 tsp.
- milk chocolate - 300 g
Method · 2 h
- Melt the butter and mix the remaining ingredients for the dough. Knead a moist and slightly crumbly dough. Place it on a baking sheet lined with paper so that it is no more than 1 cm thick. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, pour the sugar and water into a saucepan. Let it get the familiar caramel color. Then add the cream and milk, and a pinch of salt. Stirring constantly, let it reduce by half. When it does, add the soft butter and vanilla.
- Remove and let cool. Pour it over the already baked crust. Let them cool completely together. Then remove from the pan and cut into sticks the size of an original Twix.
- Melt the chocolate in a water bath and dip each bar in it. If you have a rack, leave our chocolate desserts on it to set. Leave them overnight in the refrigerator. The next day they are very delicious. Enjoy this homemade Twix!
