The Perfect Homemade Chocolate Souffle (with Video)

Method of preparation

  • dark chocolate - 100 g
  • butter - 90 g
  • flour - 15 g
  • cocoa - 15 g
  • sugar - 20 g
  • eggs - 3 pcs.
  • salt - 3 g
  • raspberries - for decoration
  • vanilla ice cream
  • powdered sugar
Method · 25 min
  1. Grease the molds with room temperature butter, then sprinkle the inside with a little sugar and leave them in the refrigerator while you prepare the mixture.
  2. Now crush or chop the chocolate, put it with the remaining butter and melt them in a water bath.
  3. Then, put the chocolate in a larger bowl and now separate the yolks from the whites, placing the yolks next to the chocolate and the whites in another bowl.
  4. Add the egg yolks, butter and chocolate, a pinch of salt, flour and cocoa and mix thoroughly with a mixer or by hand.
  5. Add the sugar to the egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form, then mix them with the yolks.
  6. Now fill the molds with the mixture, leaving a small gap at the top, bake the chocolate soufflé at 190 °C for 8-10 minutes depending on the molds and oven power.
  7. Decorate the perfect homemade chocolate soufflé with powdered sugar, raspberries and vanilla ice cream.
