Bruschetta with burrata

persons:

Ingredients · Servings 4
  • 8 slices of baguette
  • 4 bowls of burrata
  • 500 g cherry tomatoes
  • 15 g fresh basil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Olive oil
Method · 15 min
  1. Cut the tomatoes into pieces. Finely chop a clove of garlic and add it to the tomatoes. Season the tomatoes with some olive oil, pepper, and salt. Set aside.
  2. Cut the bread into 8 thick slices and brush both sides with some olive oil. Grill the bread on both sides until golden brown in a contact grill or grill pan.
  3. Next, rub a whole garlic clove over the bruschettas. This gives the toast a delicious garlic flavor.
  4. Spread half a ball of burrata over each slice of bread. Spread a spoonful of the marinated tomatoes over it. Continue in the same way with the other 7 slices of bread.
  5. Garnish the bruschettas with fresh basil, a drizzle of olive oil, and optionally a pinch of salt and pepper.
