Apple Cookies
Ingredients for Cookies
- 250 g margarine or butter – melted
- ½ cup sunflower oil
4 green apples
- ¾ cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup walnuts – crushed
Powdered sugar
For the apples: Grate the apples. Heat your pan well and add the apples and walnuts, sautéing them. Once the apples have softened, add the cinnamon and remove from the heat. Let cool.
For the cookie dough: In a mixing bowl, combine the melted margarine, sunflower oil, egg, and yogurt. Sift in the powdered sugar, baking powder, and flour through a sieve. Mix with a spatula until a dough forms. Then knead to combine all the ingredients. Refrigerate until slightly chilled.
To assemble: Remove the dough from the refrigerator and take a walnut-sized piece of dough with your hand. Flatten it in your hand and place the apple filling in the center. Carefully close the edges and shape into a bun. Prepare all the dough in this way and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes. Once cooled, transfer the cookies to a serving plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
