Aimé Leon Dore saw the new cafeteria from La Marzocco
The New York fashion brand specializing in fusing streetwear with tailoring combines its identity with the timeless aesthetic of La Marzocco to launch an exclusive limited-edition coffee machine.
The collaboration merges the worlds of high-end espresso from Café Leon Dore, the Greek coffee extension of the Aimé Leon Dore brand, with the representative design codes of his fashion firm: from the intense green to the details in polished brass or the walnut wood on which the collaborative logos are subtly integrated.
Handcrafted in La Marzocco's Officine Fratelli Bambi workshop in Florence, this machine, presented as a scaled-down version of the La Linea Classic S, which combines the duo's obsession with craftsmanship, design, and community, would go on sale for an exorbitant price of $11,660, and would sell out in less than 24 hours.
Despite its compact size, the Linea Micra has features found in La Marzocco's commercial machines, including twin boilers for brewing beer and steam simultaneously.
Beyond the design piece, the high-end collaboration is complemented by a capsule collection that includes an apron, a t-shirt and a cap that embody the functional elegance of La Marzocco and the stylistic philosophy of Aimé Leon Dore.
The Café Leon Dore x La Marzocco collection is now available at Aimé Leon Dore stores and at aimeleondore.com.
