1. Melt the butter, add the onion and sauté, stirring constantly.
Ingredients · Servings 1
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 4 onions, sliced
- 1 pinch of sugar
- 1 tablespoon of wheat flour
- 1 and 1/2 liters of beef broth
- 18 slices of stale bread
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 and 1/2 cups (tea) of grated cheese

- Melt the butter, add the onion and sauté, stirring constantly.
- Add the sugar and let it cook until wilted and golden brown.
- Sprinkle in the flour, add the broth, and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
- Grease a baking dish with butter and line it with a layer of bread.
- Sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese mixed with Parmesan.
- Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used up.
- Pour the prepared soup over the top and bake in a hot oven at 180°C for 30 minutes, until the cheese melts.
- 2. Add the sugar and let it cook until it wilts and turns golden brown.
- 3. Sprinkle with flour, add the broth, and cook over low heat for 20 minutes.
- 4. Grease a baking dish with butter and line it with a layer of bread.
- 5. Sprinkle with grated mozzarella cheese mixed with Parmesan.
- 6. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are used up.
- 7. Pour the prepared soup over the top and bake in a hot oven for 30 minutes at 180°C, until the cheese melts.
