Recipe for Carbonara Pasta, submitted by Natalya Oliveira

1. In a pot of hot water, add 500g of homemade pasta along with a drizzle of oil and 3 teaspoons of salt.

Ingredients · Servings 6
  • 500g of homemade pasta
  • Salt to taste
  • oil
  • 1 link of Calabrese sausage
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 tray of mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tablespoon of cream cheese
  • 1 this
  • seasonings to taste
Method · 30 min
  1. In a pot of hot water, add 500g of homemade pasta along with a drizzle of oil and 3 teaspoons of salt.
  2. In another pan, fry the chopped onion, garlic, and calabrese sausage.
  3. Once golden brown, add the chopped, seeded tomato and let the filling moisten.
  4. Add the cream cheese, let everything cook, and finally add the chopped mozzarella cheese.
  5. Drain the homemade pasta and before returning it to the pot, crack a raw egg into it, add the pasta on top of the egg, and cover.
  6. Let the egg cook using only the steam from the pasta.
  7. Add the filling and serve.
  8. The dish is garnished with chimichurri seasoning.
