The best dessert from the grill: peaches with strawberry dip
Long summer evenings, the grill is fired up, and everyone is still sitting comfortably together. There's really only one thing missing: dessert! And that's exactly why I love grilled fruit. It's prepared in no time and develops a wonderfully sweet, slightly caramelized aroma on the grill.
- 200 g Erdbeeren
- 1 EL Zucker
- 1/2 TL gemahlene Vanille
- 500 g griechischer Joghurt
- 6 Pfirische
- 2 EL Öl
- 30 g Pistazien (ohne Schale)
Pistazien grob hacken. Pfirsiche mit Pistazien bestreut anrichten. Joghurt-Dip dazu reichen.
I especially love using juicy peaches, which taste absolutely fantastic with a creamy yogurt dip and fruity strawberry puree. And if you don't have any peaches on hand, pineapple, nectarine, or melon work wonderfully too.
The best part: The recipe requires only a few ingredients and is ready in no time. My conclusion: A truly perfect dessert from the grill!
Ingredients
- 200g strawberries
1 tbsp sugar
- ½ tsp ground vanilla
- 500g Greek yogurt
2 EL Kill
- 30 g pistachios (without shell)
preparation
For the yogurt dip, wash, hull, and chop the strawberries. Place them in a tall mixing bowl with the sugar and vanilla and purée with an immersion blender until smooth. Gently stir into the yogurt.
Wash the peaches, halve them, and remove the pits. Lightly brush the peach halves with oil. Grill them cut-side up on a hot grill for about 5 minutes. Roughly chop the pistachios. Arrange the peaches sprinkled with pistachios. Serve with yogurt dip.

For an extra-quick version, simply replace the yogurt dip with a scoop of vanilla or yogurt ice cream. The ice cream will melt slightly on the still-warm peaches, creating a wonderfully creamy contrast.
