The rich flavor of dark chocolate sponge cake with two types of delicate custard makes this cake unique. Combined with the subtle flavor of juicy figs, it's exquisitely refined.

Brownies are one of the most recognizable American chocolate desserts: a thin, crispy crust, rich chocolate flavor, and a moist, chewy center that remains slightly gooey even after cooling. We've compiled 22 brownie recipes for every taste: from classic chocolate to options with coffee, berries, cottage cheese, and cheesecake. We'll tell you how to bake brownies in the oven and what to do to ensure the dessert turns out rich, moist inside, and with that glossy crust.

Cherry and cottage cheese brownies are an enhanced and improved version of traditional American chocolate brownies. The deep, tart flavor of dark chocolate and the velvety texture of the pastry are wonderfully balanced by the moderately sweet cottage cheese filling, and the zesty tartness of the cherries complements everything perfectly. The thin sugar crust that forms on top during baking breaks and crumbles quite dramatically when cut, revealing a moist chocolate crumb—the hallmarks of a true brownie. The flavor and texture can be enhanced by adding nuts: pecans, walnuts, almonds, or hazelnuts. But this is completely optional. Try baking these famous brownies in a new and exciting way. If you love all the components of a dessert, we're sure you'll love it!
