Let's make a simple snack pie with mushrooms and sour cream

Let's make a simple snack pie with mushrooms and sour cream.

Want to make a pie, but not one that's quick and savory? We offer a recipe for a savory version with mushrooms and sour cream, which takes just over an hour.

Do you love pies with a juicy and filling? If you have some mushrooms and sour cream left over, you can make just such an appetizer using ready-made puff pastry. We'll show you how to do it right.

350 g leeks, 700 g champignons or any other mushrooms, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, salt to taste, ground black pepper to taste, 100 g cheese, 200 g sour cream, 3 eggs, 500 g puff pastry without yeast.

First, peel and slice the onion into half rings. Then rinse the mushrooms and slice them into slices about 4 mm thick. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil and fry the onions until golden. Add the mushrooms and cook for about 15 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and remove from heat.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater. In a separate bowl, combine the sour cream and eggs, whisking until smooth. Add most of the cheese and mix again. Next, roll out the dough and place it in a round pan with a diameter of 24-26 cm. Form the edges and spread the mushroom filling over the dough. Pour the sour cream and egg mixture over it and sprinkle with cheese. Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius for approximately 50 minutes.
