Last summer I traveled to Georgia, this small country in the South Caucasus, nestled between Russia, Turkey, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. It was a guided press trip, focusing on the country's wine regions and cuisine. What can I say? We ate and drank incredibly well.
The more time passes, the more I miss this cuisine, where meat, cheese, nuts, baked goods, and plenty of tarragon, dill, coriander, and parsley play a central role. I fell in love with it.
