Giovinazzo Beer Festival: the hop festival closes out summer 2026 with flavor and music

The Giovinazzo Beer Festival returns from September 25th to 27th, 2026. This grand hop festival will transform the market area into a village of entertainment and artisanal crafts.

Traditional recipes paired with international beers will allow us to experience Giovinazzo during the last weekend of summer. This small seaside village aims to provide entertainment and entertainment for the many foreign tourists still experiencing Puglia and the northern Bari area.

The market area will be transformed into a tasting village inspired by international beer classics; this is the goal of the Giovinazzo Beer Festival, organized by the Spirito Libero association, with the support of the Municipality of Giovinazzo.

A three-day event intended as a true end-of-summer celebration to enjoy the sea and its essences, designed for families, young people, children, and hop enthusiasts.

Numerous labels will be present, with attention to those intolerant to gluten and zero alcohol, numerous live music events, street food, and local crafts under the aegis of beer: a constantly growing sector.

And it is precisely this blend of the pleasure of responsible drinking and the valorization of culinary traditions that this edition aims to achieve, confirming the intuition of the Giovinazzo Municipality's Department of Commerce to fill the long tail of summer 2026 in the seaside village of Giovinazzo with content dedicated to local specialties.

"We're repeating the Giovinazzo Beer Festival this year because it allows us to experience Giovinazzo in a festive atmosphere during the long tail end of summer, with pleasant weather," says Cristina Piscitelli, noting that the initiative represents an important opportunity to showcase the work of Italian and foreign producers and foster new business opportunities.

Each evening, Marco Deca & Pierpì will take to the stage to present the show, taking us on a journey of music, fun, and entertainment.

The Giovinazzo Beer Festival stage will come to life as early as Friday, September 25th, starting at 7 pm with activities for children, while from 8 pm there will be a fun karaoke session, followed by a performance by the 883 cover band “La radio e 1000 max” and a DJ set by Giampi.

Saturday, September 26th, the second evening will begin with activities for children, followed by a musical performance by the Liga Experience Sopravvissuti e Sopravviventi, who will pay homage to Ligabue and his Italian repertoire. The evening will close with Luigi Mantovani & Biro.

On Sunday, September 27th, the new addition to the 2026 edition will be the Morning Club, a trend and daytime entertainment format featuring parties, DJ sets, and electronic music in the morning, replacing the traditional alcoholic cocktails of nightlife with beers and other beverages. It's a completely new way to enjoy socializing and music in the open air, without staying out all night.

Closing the event on Sunday, September 27th, the Giovinazzo fairgrounds will host one of the Salento scene's most beloved bands: Après La Classe, featuring in a concert that promises to transform the audience into a collective dance. A rush of pure adrenaline will sweep across the stage with a show that blends ska, rock, electronica, and all the hits that have made the band a staple of Italian music, from "Mammalitaliani" to songs that have been making entire generations sing along for years.

There will be a strong involvement from local businesses and traditional Apulian food, pairing Made in Puglia recipes with the best beers of the moment; authenticity and tradition will be the perfect combination for three days of music, good food, and fun.
