Food Temple puts Morocco in the spotlight at the Carreau du Temple
For its 10th edition, the Food Temple festival invites the public to discover Moroccan gastronomy from September 18th to 20th at the Carreau du Temple in Paris.
An electro-gourmet inauguration
The festival will kick off on Friday, September 18th at 6 pm with an opening night dedicated to food and music. Abdel Alaoui and the team from La Mouette et les Dromadaires will be in charge of the culinary offerings. On the music front, DJs Hervé Carvalho from Acid Arab, Retro Cassetta, Samifati & Transe Gwana Express, and Francis Latombe will be spinning the tunes. Admission is €10 for the general public.
Restaurants, workshops and a Moroccan market
Over the weekend, Food Temple will bring together pop-up restaurants, a tea room, workshops, and masterclasses, all centered around traditional recipes and contemporary creations. A market will also take on the atmosphere of a Moroccan souk, featuring spices, olive and argan oils, floral waters, tableware, and handcrafted items. Artisans from Marrakech and Essaouira, among other places, will be present. The event aims to offer an immersive experience in Moroccan culinary culture, combining discovery, knowledge sharing, and conviviality.
