The Uzbek culinary service Zira.uz, in collaboration with Gazeta.uz, has published a themed collection of cinnamon-based baking recipes to celebrate the autumn season. The authors have compiled a variety of homemade desserts suitable for both everyday family teatime and festive occasions.
The dishes on offer included traditional Cinnabon buns made from airy yeast dough with a creamy curd glaze, as well as an alternative chocolate version covered in dark chocolate glaze. For those who appreciate a striking presentation, the creators suggested a large cinnamon roll shaped like a pie.
A significant portion of the recommendations is dedicated to the classic combination of apples and spices. The selection includes a quick, layered treat—apple rings in pastry, soft cookies with a spiced apple filling, and tender cottage cheese pies. The chefs also presented an unusual recipe for fluffy chocolate muffins, using finely grated zucchini as a secret ingredient to preserve their richness.
Experts note that using cinnamon in desserts not only enhances the flavor of seasonal fruits but also creates a cozy atmosphere thanks to the characteristic warm aroma of baked goods.
