Panoramic pool and freshly baked cheese bread. Discover this charming accommodation
Founded in 2000, Pousada Alto da Boa Vista was established in one of the highest and most tranquil spots in the neighborhood that gives it its name, in Campos do Jordão.
The property features 21 accommodation units, including rooms, suites, and chalets. Options range from 16 to 83 square meters and include amenities such as king or queen-size beds, balconies with mountain views, and fireplaces.
Some units also feature Japanese-style rosewood hot tubs, soaking tubs for two, and a private dry sauna. For longer stays, there are chalets equipped with a kitchen and barbecue.
Gastronomy is one of the highlights of the experience. Breakfast is served daily in the main hall and includes freshly made cheese bread, breads, cakes, seasonal fruit, jams, omelets and tapiocas prepared to order.
For lunch and dinner, guests can choose between the Carrara Lounge, dedicated to Italian-Brazilian cuisine, or Pontremoli, an Italian bistro inspired by the slow food concept.
At Pontremoli, dinners take place in an intimate setting, with meals served by candlelight, near the fireplace or on an outdoor deck with fire pits. The inn also features a spa, dry sauna, gym, Pilates studio, reading room, children's area, and free parking. In October, the price per night starts at €106.
Campos do Jordão does not have a commercial airport, so access is by road. From Guarulhos Airport (GRU), about 160 kilometers away, and Congonhas Airport (CGH), approximately 180 kilometers away, the trip takes between two and a half and three hours.
Those wishing to explore the region with greater freedom can opt for renting a car directly at the airport. Prices range from R$22 to R$44 per day, depending on the chosen category. Alternatively, it is possible to book a private transfer, with prices between €135 and €185, or use ride-hailing services such as Uber, with fares starting at €68 per trip.
