How to choose the best oranges for this recipe?
Choosing a good orange is key to a juicy, sweet, and flavorful salad. When buying them, look for fruit with a firm, smooth, and uniformly colored peel. They should feel heavy for their size, as this usually indicates they contain more juice. Avoid oranges with soft spots, bruises, mold, or an overly dry peel, as these may be past their prime or have lost some of their freshness.
