P&O Cruises Adds Over 40 Plant-Based Dishes Through Collaboration With BOSH! - vegconomist
P&O Cruises has partnered with UK-based plant-based food company BOSH! to introduce more than 40 vegan dishes across its fleet.
“Teaming up with BOSH! allows us to elevate our food proposition to new heights, bringing guests the kind of contemporary plant-based dishes they increasingly enjoy at home.”
The new menu items will be incorporated into the Freedom and Club restaurants on board, covering both main dining options available to passengers.
Menus reflect global routes
The selection includes starters, mains, and desserts and will rotate in conjunction with cruise itineraries. Dishes will include offerings such as gnocchi in wild mushroom cream sauce and key lime chocolate pie.
BOSH! co-founders Henry Firth and Ian Theasby stated: “At BOSH!, flavour is everything. We want plant-rich food to feel exciting, satisfying and genuinely delicious, and these dishes deliver exactly that.”
Modern cruise dining
The collaboration is designed to provide greater variety for both plant-based diners and those seeking to include more vegan meals during their travel.
Paul Ludlow, president of Carnival UK and P&O Cruises, said: “Teaming up with BOSH! allows us to elevate our food proposition to new heights, bringing guests the kind of contemporary plant-based dishes they increasingly enjoy at home.” The integration of BOSH! menus follows an industry-wide trend of expanding dietary offerings in line with changing consumer preferences, particularly within leisure and travel sectors.
The cruise line plans to continue updating its culinary programmes in the lead-up to 2026.
