Light and good for any occasion

A delicious, light cake with the flavors of winter. Light and delicious, it's perfect for those who want a sweet treat without losing weight. Today, we're making this whole-wheat walnut and ginger cake together.

A dessert you can make anytime, any time of day. Quick and easy to make. Delicious and easy to make. Let's take a look at the ingredients we need to make it.

Ingredients

  • 60g of extra virgin olive oil
  • 80g of semi-skimmed milk
  • 3 whole eggs
  • 1 teaspoon ginger
  • 130g of wholemeal flour
  • 50g of whole cane sugar
  • 80g of shelled walnuts
  • grated zest of 1 orange
  • 8g baking powder

Wholemeal walnut and ginger cake: method

Start by adding the walnuts to the blender jug, along with half of the sugar listed. Grind them.

Separately, in a bowl, combine the eggs and sugar and beat vigorously. Gradually add the oil and continue beating with an electric mixer. Then, add the milk. Add the whole wheat flour, chopped walnuts, baking powder, and grated orange zest and beat again.

Finally, add a teaspoon of ginger. Stir.

Next, take a cake pan, grease it and flour it, and pour the mixture in. Bake for 45 minutes at 180°C.
