Pear tart

Today for afternoon tea, I prepared a delicious tart with pears, pistachios, and toffee sauce. It not only tastes divine but also looks beautiful. Enjoy! 😄 🍐

Easy

Shortcrust pastry for pear tart:

Step 1: Combine the flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Then add the cold butter and egg yolks. Chop the dough into fine crumbs with a knife and quickly knead. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Step 2 Grease a 26 cm tart pan. Roll out the chilled pastry, then line the pan with it, pricking it thoroughly with a fork.

Step 3 Before placing in the preheated oven, cover the cake with baking paper and scatter dried beans on top. Bake for about 20 minutes at 200°C. After this time, remove the pan from the oven, remove the paper and beans, and return the cake to the oven for another 5-10 minutes to lightly brown the base.

Pear filling:

Step 4 Spread pear jam over the baked cake.

Step 5 Wash and peel the pears, and slice them lengthwise into thin slices. Dip them in lemon juice and arrange them radially on the dough.

Step 6 Place the finished tart in a preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes at 190°C. Once baked, sprinkle the top with chopped pistachios. Serve with toffee sauce.

Dr. Oetker Toffee Sauce. This thick toffee sauce with a real caramel flavor will deliciously enhance the flavor of your desserts. Add it to ice cream, cheesecake, pancakes, or waffles and enjoy.
