Ingredients · Servings
  • semi-coarse flour, 2 cups
  • granulated sugar, 1 cup
  • milk, 1.5 cups lukewarm
  • oil, 100 ml
  • Golden Ear cream powder (Dr.Oetker), 1 pack.
  • baking powder, 1 pack.
  • vanilla, 1 pc.
  • egg, 1 whole fresh
  • wholemeal flour, 3 tbsp
  • granulated sugar, 2 tbsp
  • butter, 1 PL
  • ground cinnamon, 1 tsp
  • hazelnuts, 50 g ground
  • apples, 3 - 4 pcs
  • currant
  • blueberries
Method · 25 min
  1. On Saturday afternoon I was playing with hazelnuts. I still had some unshelled ones from last year.
  2. It took me a long time to peel them all.
  3. First I peeled the apples.
  4. I made the crumb mixture from 3 tbsp of coarse flour, 2 tbsp of sugar and 1 tbsp of butter. Then I chose a suitable baking pan. I greased the sides of the pan and sprinkled it with flour. I lined the bottom of the baking pan with baking paper. I turned on the oven and set the temperature to 180 °C.
  5. I mixed one egg with 140 ml of sugar and 1 tsp of homemade vanilla sugar. The recipe calls for 200 ml. I reduced the amount. After baking the cake, it still seemed quite sweet to me. Next time I will reduce the amount of sugar even more.
  6. I added 100 ml of oil to 300 ml of lukewarm milk. I mixed it into the beaten egg and sugar.
  7. I measured out 2 cups of flour, added Golden Ear and one bag of baking powder. I mixed it with the flour.
  8. I sifted the flour into the beaten egg. I mixed the dough well so that there were no lumps.
  9. I poured the dough into the prepared pan. I sliced the apples and placed them on top of the dough.
  10. To make the cake more colorful, I took currants and blueberries out of the freezer.
  11. I put the small fruit on top of the apples.
  12. I forgot to put cinnamon on the apples, so I mixed it into the crumbs along with the ground hazelnuts.
  13. I baked the cake for 30 minutes. When it cooled, I sprinkled it with chocolate.
  14. After Sunday lunch, a piece of cake went well with coffee.
