Oatmeal cookies

Delicate, crumbly cookies.

Ingredients · Servings 30 pieces
  • 180 g butter
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 150 g of oatmeal
  • 10 g baking powder
  • 150-200 g flour
Method
  1. Rub the butter with sugar.
  2. Add eggs.
  3. Mix.
  4. Add cereal.
  5. Mix.
  6. Add baking powder and flour. Knead into a not too stiff dough.
  7. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour (to allow the flakes to plump up and become softer).
  8. Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper. Break off small pieces of dough and form them into balls (to make this easier, lightly wet your hands with water). Place them on the baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit). Bake for 15–20 minutes.

It's very tasty with milk, but it's also good with tea or coffee.

If desired, you can add raisins, prunes, dried apricots, candied fruits, and nuts to the dough.

The specified amount of ingredients makes 30 pieces.

  • 150 g of oatmeal (preferably finely ground)

Bon appetit!
