Healthy oat cake with protein

Guide

Ingredients · Servings 4 annosta
  • 200g kaurahiutaleita
  • 100g talkkunaa
  • 40g heraproteiinia (maustamaton tai vanilja)
  • 2tl leivinjauhetta
  • 30g psylliumjauhetta
  • 3kpl banaania
  • 2.5dl vettä
  • 3tl makeutusainetiivistettä (stevia, syklamaatti)
  • 400g pakastemustikoita
  • 500g porkkanaraastetta
  • 1tlk mustapapuja
Method · 1 h
  1. Suositusvälineet: 2 Kulhoa, vaaka, sauvasekoitin, irtopohjavuoka, sekoituslasta
  2. 1) Sekoita kuivat aineet.
  3. 2) Pilko banaanit, lisää vesi ja hienonna sauvasekoittimella. Lisää porkkanaraaste ja pavut.
  4. 3) Yhdistä kuiviin aineisiin, sekoita joukkoon mustikat ja kaada irtopohjavuokaan.
  5. 4) Uuniin 60min @ 200C.
  6. - Makeuta stevialla/syklamaatilla(neste)
  7. - Ohrahiutaleet toimivat erinomaisesti kauran tilalla
  14. Liikaa vettä kannattaa välttää, koska kakku voi jäädä löysäksi sisältä.
  15. Ravintoarvot kaikilla aineilla:
  16. 1900kcal
  17. 340g H
  18. 18g R
  19. 90g P
  20. 126g kuitua

Recommended tools: 2 bowls, scale, hand mixer, loose-bottomed pan, mixing spatula.

1) Mix the dry ingredients.

2) Chop the bananas, add water and blend with a hand blender. Add the grated carrots and beans.

3) Combine with dry ingredients, stir in blueberries and pour into a springform pan.

4) Bake for 60min @ 200C.

- Sweeten with stevia/cyclamate (liquid)

- Barley flakes work great as a substitute for oats

- You can replace the talc with flakes if you don't like the taste.

- Psyllium powder improves the texture of the cake (note - not groats)

- Grated carrots add volume to the cake with few calories, and don't really taste like anything else.

- Beans add volume, fiber, and protein to the cake. Note: The texture may not be to everyone's taste.

+ You can add up to 100g of whey protein without any problems. You can use 3dL of water in this case.

The cake is semi-sweet and is intended as a meal/snack, not a dessert. Best served chilled in the fridge with a flavored custard (vanilla/queen/peach, for example). I have been eating this and various variations of the recipe as a meal for years. The recipe can be modified freely.

It is best to avoid using too much water, as the cake may become soggy inside.
