Can an air fryer replace a Thermomix® in our kitchen? Actually, the two complement each other perfectly and work like a perfect match. Discover how to save time, eat healthier, and all the dishes you can prepare in your air fryer. Learn some secrets about how it works. What's the ideal size to buy?

We had a blast filming this last episode, and I had a good laugh at the cover photos. Are you watching it? Yes, it's my wedding dress. I wore it the other day and discovered that twenty years later I can still fit into it, so not too bad.

The occasion warranted it. Pamela Rodríguez – @unodedos on Instagram – knows everything about air fryers, and I still have everything to learn about how they work. As I mentioned, the air fryer appeared unexpectedly at home a few weeks ago. Javi bought it on the recommendation of several coworkers, and although I had many doubts, I'll say we're using it quite a bit. Ours is the 3.5-liter Cosori model, but there's a wide variety of brands and models available.

There are two of us, and we don't eat at the same time, so it's really useful for making a quick fish or chicken wings while we cook the rice in the Thermomix®. We've started a section on the blog dedicated to the air fryer, and there you can find the first recipes I've made and posted. I've also tried a few desserts, and I was pleasantly surprised by the results. Here they are:

There are a ton of recipes in Pamela's book that I still need to try. I still have to make some dough and try some meat that isn't chicken. In the episode, I ask if it's a good idea to use paper in the steaming basket (to make less mess) and, for example, if the cooking times in the recipes are approximate, considering that not all of them have the same power. I also haven't used the skewers yet, but I'll get around to it.

I think this episode will be really useful, both for those of you who already own one and for those thinking about buying one. Sizes, brands, prices… I'd get one right now. And remember, you can listen to us in your car. Just ask your voice assistant or find it on your audio platform and listen via Bluetooth. You can also leave your questions in the comments, and I'll pass them on to Pamela Rodríguez.

Oh! And one more thing, I want to remind you that the brands featured on the show are not part of any advertising campaign. (Thanks to Leo Casero—my loyal friend—for volunteering to play the role of Thermomix priest in this ceremony).
