Mirabelle plum jam: the best recipe

Mirabelle plums give this jam its full summery flavor, perfect for enjoying at breakfast—pure bliss! It's easy to make, not too sweet, and quite unique! You can even add a touch of vanilla for extra sweetness!

Ingredients · Servings 8 people
  • 1 kg pitted mirabelle plums
  • 750 g granulated sugar
  • lemon juice
Method · 20 min
  1. Place the mirabelle plums, granulated sugar, and lemon juice in a terrine. Mix. Cover with a cloth or cling film and leave to macerate overnight at room temperature.
  2. The next day, pour the mixture into a jam pan and cook for about 40 to 50 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. The jam is ready to be jarred when a few drops placed on a cold plate set.
  4. Pour the hot jam into jars and seal. Turn the jars upside down and let them cool completely.
