Wrap booklets with ham and cheese
Cute, colorful ham and cheese wrap books make a playful and quick lunch or snack for children and adults. Using soft cheese, tender ham, and a dollop of mayonnaise, you fold small books with a simple folding technique that fit perfectly in a lunchbox or on top of a picnic basket.
Ingredients · Servings 2
- 1 large tortilla
- 3 slices of cheese without rind
- 2 slices of ham without rind
- 1 the mayonnaise
- edible marker
Method · 5 min
- Trim the rounded ends of the wrap to create a square surface, then cut the wrap in the middle into two equal parts. Fold the wrap strips in half along the longest side, like a booklet. Halve the slices of cheese and the slices of ham.
- Arrange alternating slices of cheese, ham, cheese, ham, and cheese on a stack. Repeat this for a second stack. Spread mayonnaise on the inside of the folded wraps and place a small stack of filling in each wrap.
- Fold the wrap booklet closed and write the title of a school subject on the outside with an edible marker.
