Goat cheese wrapped in grape leaves, marinated in wine

It's impossible to give exact proportions for all the ingredients. But preparing this Lyon delicacy is very simple. However, you'll need to start preparing it the day before your meal.

  • goat cheese
  • red wine
Method · 30 min
  1. Cut goat cheese (chèvre) into slices and wrap each slice in a pickled grape leaf. Place in a deep bowl and top with red wine. Marinate at room temperature for 24 hours.
  2. Remove, pat dry with paper towels, and arrange on plates. Serve with grape leaves, grapes, and peeled walnuts. Drizzle a little honey over the plate.
