Charqui Canapé - Pilar Hernández's Chilean Cuisine
Finally, the recipe. This recipe is old, but I really like it because it surprises guests and is very easy. In Chile, I think it's been completely and unfairly forgotten.
Ingredients · Servings 8
- 100 grams of jerky
- 1 tablespoon of melted butter
- pan de molde
Method · PT-497396H58M53S
- Process the jerky in a food processor until finely chopped, or crumble it with your hands. With the processor running, add the melted butter and let it incorporate.
- Meanwhile, toast the sliced bread, brush it with hot butter. Place a small mound of dried meat on top and garnish with a sprig of parsley.
- Serve immediately.
I made it for a dinner party last week with my husband's American friends. The other recipes are coming soon.
