- In a separate bowl, mix mozzarella (reserve 1 cup for topping), cream cheese, remaining parmesan cheese, ricotta, basil, parsley, other half of the pepper, other half of the salt, and other half of the garlic until smooth and set aside
- To assemble, spread the beef mixture evenly into a baking dish and pour the cheese mixture over the meat.
- Top with the reserved mozzarella and bake at 185°C (365°F) for 25–30 minutes, or until golden and bubbling.
