Peanut Coleslaw Salad

Coleslaw Salad with Peanuts

Coleslaw is a traditional American dish that's a staple at any family lunch or dinner. This salad is made with cabbage—white or red—and various toppings, including peanuts.

Step 1

Peel the vegetables. Finely chop the cabbage and mash with salt. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

Step 2

Cut the onion into half rings, slice the celery, and chop the parsley.

Step 3

Beat the yolk with the mustard and vinegar. While whisking, slowly pour in the oil. Stir in the cabbage, carrots, onion, celery, parsley, and nuts. Drizzle with the dressing, season with salt and pepper, and mix thoroughly.
