Alcohol-free Cocktail: Mauresque Red Pastis
The French cocktail Pastis Rouge Mauresque stands for refreshing sweetness – served in a highball glass. The non-alcoholic version also brings an exotic touch to the glass with lime and hibiscus syrup.
Ingredients
- 2 cl hibiscus syrup
- 2 cl almond syrup
- 4 cl non-alcoholic pastis alternative (e.g. from Ricard)
- 1 cl lime juice (from the lime)
- 1 lime
- Water
- Crushed Ice
Method
- Fill a glass with crushed ice.
- First pour in the hibiscus syrup, then the almond syrup, and finally the pastis slowly.
- Carefully peel the lime and then squeeze out the juice.
- Then top up with lime juice and water.
- Garnish the cocktail with lime zest.
