Vote for the BEST Lifelong Learning Story of 2026
Their stories are competing this year for the title of BEST Lifelong Learning Story 2026. By voting until June 7, you can support the story that speaks to you the most with its perseverance, courage, and dedication to learning.
The recipients of the ACS 2026 Awards are Marinka Bučar from the Zasavje region, Maja Dvoršek from the Gorizia region, Cvetka Krampelj from the Southeast Slovenia region, Eva Stavbar from the Podravje region, Bojan Tomc, MA from the Coastal-Karst region, Matej Vukovič from the Gorenjska region, Mario Žnidaršič from the Primorje-Notranjska region, Band 6M from the Koroška region, Fužine Activity Center – CAF from the Central Slovenia region, the Association of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing of Posavje Krško from the Posavje region, the Samooskrbni.net Association from the Savinja region and the Roma Academic Club – RAK from the Pomurje region.
The winning story will be announced on June 15, 2026 at the event "You can be inspired" in Šmarje pri Jelšah. This year's Lifelong Learning Weeks take place between May 8 and June 14, 2026, and invite you to more than 6,000 events throughout Slovenia.
The project is led by the Andragogic Centre of Slovenia and is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+).
