Fake plum dumplings: a quick and easy baking dish
Plum dumplings are a classic that reminds many of childhood and home cooking. The soft dough, sweet plums, and golden brown fried breadcrumbs create a combination that's hard to beat. But while we love them, they're often rarely made due to their somewhat time-consuming preparation.
Instead of shaping and cooking each ball separately, we simply place all the ingredients in a baking dish. During baking, the semolina mass and plums are soaked, and the crumbly crust provides that real homely touch. The result is a fragrant pastry that is almost identical to classic plum dumplings - only the preparation is faster, easier and without unnecessary complications.
