- 12 black olives (pitted)
- Olive oil
- Shall
- Fresh basil leaves
Method · 18 min
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Halve the cherry tomatoes and place them on a small baking tray. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt. Set aside.
- Flatten the bread slices with a rolling pin until they are thin and even.
- Cut out bread discs with a round cookie cutter or mark the shape with a glass and then cut them out with a knife.
- Carefully place the bread discs in the muffin tin and brush the inside with a little olive oil.
- Bake the bread baskets and cherry tomatoes at the same time for 7 minutes at 180ºC.
- Remove them from the oven. Fill the tartlets with the cherry tomatoes, diced mozzarella, and sliced olives. Bake for another 6 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the tartlets are golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, drizzle with olive oil and add a few fresh basil leaves. Serve warm or hot. And that's it!
