Korean-style breaded chicken burger: crispy, spicy, and ultra tasty

- 1 burger bun
- 1 slice of cheddar
- 1 breaded chicken fillet
- 4 small leaves of romaine lettuce, approximately
- 1 tablespoon of kimchi, approximately
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon of soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- 1 small clove of garlic, chopped, or garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of gochujang, approximately
- 1 teaspoon of sesame seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon of sesame oil
Method · 20 min
- Cook the breaded chicken fillet for the time indicated on the package. In this case, we cooked it for 10 minutes in the air fryer at 200°C.
- Toast the burger bun for 2 minutes in the toaster, or 2 minutes in the air fryer at 190°C.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing the mayonnaise, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, gochujang, sesame seeds, and sesame oil.
- Spread the sauce over the entire surface of the base of the bread.
- Add the cheese on top. Then, place the breaded chicken on top.
- Add the lettuce leaves. You can also chop them finely if you prefer. Scatter the kimchi pieces on top.
- Finally, place the top half of the burger bun on top, also spread with sauce. And that's it!
