Stracciatella ice cream with creamy ninja
Creamy and with small pieces of dark chocolate, this homemade stracciatella ice cream is the kind you'll want to make again and again. With just a few ingredients—skyr (or plain yogurt), a little agave syrup, vanilla, and dark chocolate—you can prepare a simple, refreshing, and incredibly delicious ice cream.
Ingredients · Servings 4
- 350g of natural skyr (or natural yogurt)
- 2 tablespoons of agave syrup (or sugar)
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 30g of dark chocolate
Method · 24 h 10 min
- Put the skyr (or natural yogurt), agave syrup and vanilla extract into the Ninja Creami bowl and mix well.
- Place the container in the freezer and leave it to freeze for at least 24 hours.
- After this time, place the container in the Ninja Creami. First, select the "Scoop" mode, and then "Ice Cream" or "Frozen Yogurt," depending on the texture you want to achieve.
- While the machine is running, chop the dark chocolate. Use a knife if you prefer larger pieces, or grate it if you want it finer and evenly distributed throughout the ice cream.
- If after the first cycle the ice cream has a somewhat dry or not very creamy texture, process it again using the "Ice Cream" mode.
- Add the chopped chocolate and select the "Mix-In" program to incorporate it into the ice cream.
- And that's it!
- You can serve it immediately or store it in an airtight container in the freezer to enjoy later.
