French steak with aromatic sauce

Method of preparation

Spread mustard on all sides of the steaks and sprinkle with salt. Roll the steak in the black peppercorns.

Heat the oil in a deep frying pan and when hot, fry the steaks for 3 minutes on each side. Remove the steaks and add the remaining oil and shallots to the pan.

Cook for 1-2 minutes and add the brandy. Be careful, it will ignite! Even if you don't get a flame, don't worry, just stir until the brandy evaporates.

Add the garlic and broth to the pan, cook until most of the water has evaporated. Add the cream and stir until thickened.

Finally, add a little salt to taste and the butter. Cut the steaks into strips and pour generously with the sauce.

Serve with the obligatory fries, which are also preferably in thin and long strips.

And after just one bite, you will be transported to some elegant bistro in the center of magnificent Paris!

The French steak with aromatic sauce is ready.
