Ingredients · Servings 36
  • powdered sugar - 250 g
  • hazelnuts - 250 g peeled and roasted (without salt)
  • almond liqueur - 20 ml
  • almond extract - 2 - 3 drops, bitter almond
  • Portocales juice - 15 ml
  • chocolate - 250 g Milk (suitable for melting)
  • hazelnuts - finely chopped, for sprinkling (can also be croquettes)
Method · 41 min
  1. Put the roasted, peeled hazelnuts in a blender and let them grind into a paste.
  2. Add the powdered sugar, liqueur, orange juice and essence. Blend again until everything is combined into a thick, stiff paste. You can also mix by hand.
  3. If the mixture is dry, add a little more orange juice. This will be the marzipan for our chocolate candies.
  4. Grate the milk chocolate and place 170 grams of it in a water bath at no more than 55-60 degrees. It should melt, but not liquefy abruptly at higher temperatures.
  5. Stir constantly until the chocolate is smooth. Then add the remaining chocolate and stir until melted.
  6. Form balls from the marzipan and roll them in the velvety chocolate.
  7. Remove to a baking sheet and sprinkle each candy with crushed hazelnuts or crocan.
  8. Let the chocolate set and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Then you can serve these wonderful candies or put them in paper capsules and put them in gift boxes to delight your loved ones. The perfect New Year's sweets.
  9. Have a sweet tooth with these amazing marzipan chocolates!
