Egyptian Rice

1 cup of cooked or frozen corn

Salt

3 glasses of water

Place your rice pot on the stove and add the butter, melting it. Add the olive oil and the rice (after rinsing it) and sauté lightly. Add the corn, salt, and white pepper and stir once. Then add the water, cover the pot, and cook over medium heat until boiling, then reduce the heat and simmer until the water is absorbed. Once the rice is cooked and the water is absorbed, turn off the heat. Place a paper towel between the pot and the lid and let it steam. Once steamed, open the lid and stir the rice. Serve hot.
