Outdoors among the Caiarossa vineyards

Amid breathtaking landscapes and rolling hills, Caiarossa's trails invite visitors to pedal through the stunning vineyards overlooking the sea.

"During the tour, visitors will be able to admire the wonderful landscapes of our vineyards," explains Emilio Mancini, Director of Caiarossa, "while pedaling through the greenery. One of our main goals is to cultivate a positive, more sustainable, and inclusive relationship between nature and humanity. Upon arrival, a tasting of the new vintages of our three red wines—Pergolaia, Aria di Caiarossa, and Caiarossa—will complete the experience by introducing you to our refined blends, an expression of our quest for experimentation and balance."

The tour in detail:

The e-bike tour begins at Caiarossa, passing through the company's most historic vineyards, located opposite the winery. The route will lead to the road leading to Riparbella, where a local guide will lead visitors through the murals, street art, and the cypress-lined avenue in front of the historic cemetery, where each tree bears the name of a fallen soldier. The road then leads to the highest vineyards on the hill known as Poggio di Nocola. Here, the breathtaking view takes center stage. Overlooking the Nocolino vineyards, the guide will explain all the details of biodynamic agriculture, the foundation of the company's philosophy. Caiarossa was founded with the intention of creating a place where the production of high-quality wines would combine the beauty of simplicity and respect for the environment. This goal was achieved through the application of biodynamic principles. "Producing a quality wine, for us," explains Francesco Villa, Technical Director of Caiarossa, "means taking an active role in protecting and respecting our planet. Since its founding, the biodynamic approach has concretely aimed to preserve the entire ecosystem, while also ensuring maximum environmental and social sustainability in these places." The tour will then continue along the stunning paths of the Mediterranean scrubland, leading to San Martino, the last stop before returning to Caiarossa. On the panoramic terrace overlooking the vineyards, it will be time for a tasting, accompanied by a selection of local organic and biodynamic products and a taste of Caiarossa's organic extra virgin olive oil.
