Abruzzo Wine Consortium welcomes Agriculture Decree

"We would like to thank Minister Francesco Lollobrigida and the President of the Agriculture Commission, Luca De Carlo, for the latest amendments included in the Agriculture Decree, which are fully aimed at supporting our sector," says Alessandro Nicodemi, President of the Consorzio Tutela Vini d'Abruzzo, who—in recent months—has worked as a team and in synergy with unions, producer organizations,

"The increase in the National Solidarity Fund with an additional 30 million euros, in addition to the 17 million already envisaged in the initial text of the decree, is crucial," says the president of the Consorzio Tutela Vini d'Abruzzo. "This allocation will ensure financial support for our businesses. Even more important is the inclusion of the decline in primary production as a requirement for accessing the mortgage moratorium, perhaps the most anticipated measure."

"I don't think we could have achieved more with this decree," Nicodemi emphasizes. "We all know we're short on resources, but for the first time, we've acted as one with the entire supply chain to win this battle aimed at giving regional wineries a first breath of fresh air."
